DING 2015: "He attended Felsted School, 1866-1874. He received his B.A. from St. John's College, Oxford, in 1878, and his M.A. degree in 1833. He worked in Barbados, West Indies, as Assistant Master at Harrison College and as Curate of St. Michael's Cathedral. He returned to England and was Assistant Master of Felsted School between 1892 and 1894. In 1905 he was elected Governor of the School. He was Vicar of High-Easter, Essex, from 1903 to 1916.”
