DING 2016: “He was born at Stoke Darmerel, Dev. He was Curate of Langar cum Barnston, Not., between 1856 and 1861. He was appointed curate of Doddington, Not., in 1855 and became its rector, for 48 years, in 1861. At least since 1871 he resided in Lincolnshire, where he died. He published widely on the ecclesiastical history of Lincolnshire.”
