DING 2012: "In 1837 he was editor of the Leeds Times. He afterwards moved to London where he worked in different newspapers. He travelled to Texas, New Orleans and New York in search of a better life. He also tried his fortune in Canada. He finally returned to England, and settled in Nottingham affected with ague. He died in London shortly afterwards from an overdose of morphia.”
